KINI is typically meant for children age 5-13. This does not mean that kids outside of this age range will not enjoy KINI, however the lessons and robot is optimal for these grade levels. We encourage the entire family to get involved when using KINI, because you’re never too young or old to learn to code!

How do I turn the robot on/off?
There is a power switch located on the back of the robot. Simply flip the switch to turn the robot on/off.
How do I know when KINI needs to be charged?
If your KINI is connected to your device, simply go to the Dashboard tab in the KINI App. There, you’ll find a Battery Sensor which tells you KINI’s battery percentage.

How do I charge KINI?

What surfaces can I use KINI on?
KINI can be used on most surfaces, including most carpets, however we recommend that KINI is used on a smooth and even surface. This is due to the fact that KINI’s wheels may get tangled in certain carpets, or the robot may operate at a slower speed on some surfaces.
How large is KINI?
KINI is approximately 8.5cm (3.3 inches) tall, 12.5 cm (4.9 inches) long, and 13.5 cm (5.3 inches) wide, including it’s wheels.
What if KINI is dropped or falls?
KINI is made to be durable, however we cannot guarantee that KINI can survive large drops. Hard drops and falls could damage your robot, so please ensure that you are careful when handling KINI. Robots damaged by dropping/falling (and other human errors) are not eligible for exchange or return.
What is the return policy for KINI?
Your robot is eligible for return up until 30 days after you receive your package. You should contact to request a return, and we'll send you a free return shipping label and a full refund. You’ll be automatically refunded through your original payment method.
